STRATEGIC MEDIA EXECUTIVE
Hanna Bolte is an entertainment executive who has successfully built brands, companies and careers with her expertise in media, content, messaging, audience and disruptive innovation. She has built and led high-performing teams to bring almost a billion dollars in earned media value to companies, double digit reputation growth, and leveraging sales and marketing opportunities to drive revenue and audience retention.
Developing herself in what she calls ‘O’ states – Oahu, Ohio and Oklahoma – Hanna has always been a unique executive in the vast entertainment landscape. She is a multicultural executive, a brand advocate, digital innovator and adopter, realist, bilingual, and transformed the careers of those around her. Her infectious passion, adventure and knack for finding angles, ways and assets that those above, across and below her couldn’t see possible have benefited all around her.
Her color-blind approach to life comes from her upbringing in two different states: Hawaii (Oahu) and Ohio. Mirroring the committed work and community mentality of her mother, grandparents and relatives, she knew that her career would be in communications and entertainment from an early age. She went to and is a proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma, and she will recant tales of the Journalism school, Sooner football games, sorority life, working for the local concert promoters and the Flaming Lips to those who ask.
She started and has maintained her career in Los Angeles where she first began as the Manager of Publicity for MCA Records and quickly rose her way up to running the PR and Artist Relations departments in the music industry (BMI, EMI, Zoo/BMG) and working with hundreds of acts including Suicidal Tendencies, Celine Dion, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tool, NWA, Luther Vandross, Queensryche, Old Crowe Medicine Show, Kinky, Juanes, Jenni Rivera, as well as some of the top film and tv composers and many songwriters in the U.S., Europe and Mexico.
She seguewayed into Cable TV in 2011, taking the position of VP of Media & Talent Relations for NBC/Universal’s bilingual/multicultural Hispanic cable network mun2. There she elevated and built the networks reputation and value, as well as increasing the recognition and reach of it’s on-camera hosts and stars. At mun2 she launched and was an integral executive on its reality series, MMA series, award show coverage, digital content and live events, as well as strategizing and implementing media campaigns for its upfront sales presentations and TCA (Television Critics Association) events and meetings.
Going back to her roots in building brands across all audiences and technologies, she decided to pursue consulting in the summer of 2014. She now consults entertainment, sports and brands on not only expanding the reach, influence and reputation to audience and via media, but in developing content that speaks to the evolving audience on both first, second and third screens. She continues to work with and advise artists, athletes and executives on media and communications, as well as supplement events for communications and talent support,. She also provides strategic guidance on long range planning for communication and reputation priorities, as well as crisis and strategic communications.
Hanna is a detailed professional who interacts with her team and also brings a lot of guidance to the people whom she works with. Her pleasant attitude and bright spirit is welcoming to anyone who works with her.
Hanna is the consumate media professional. I have actually heard other organizations say the need to hire "their Hanna Pantle;" she sets the standard to which others aspire. She is incredibly well-connected and respected in the music and film industries, and is one of the nicest people you could ever meet.
I had the pleasure of working with Hanna on this year's BMI Awards with my client, Hall & Oates. Hanna's work ethic and enthusiasm are contagious -- She made me elevate my game.
